While TRI was undergoing some extensive renovations over the winter and spring of 2004, students at the Guilford High School (under the direction of Molly McDugal) and from the Baldwin Middle School (under the direction of Donna Bongiorni) were busy designing and creating a spectacular tile mural with a rendition of Faulkner’s Island. This colorful piece of art work was painted on ceramic tile donated by Nicole Herold from Fired-Up in Branford CT and by Larry Susberg from Ceramic Supply in NJ. Overseeing this wonderful community effort was our very own, Dr. Michael Weiner, TRI’s Director of Technology. The mural proudly adorns the vestibule wall by the main entrance. We invite all to see!
