TS Alliance Walk-A-Thon
On Saturday, May 14th 2005 - The Rothberg Institute hosted a
Step Forward walk to raise money for the TS Alliance. Starting
on the Marina across the street, the 5K walk went to the town
green and returned to the Institute where everyone enjoyed barbecue
and music during a charity raffle and children's games.
In all we had well over 200 walkers and the current tally from
sponsors exceeds $60,000 - overwhelming success, destined to be
an annual event. Not only did we raise critical funding to help
families with TS, but also heightened community awareness of both
the Institute and TSC, bringing together many families with TSC
& proving that this may be an orphan disease, but it has a
face and a name as well. For additional donations, please see
